Obviously, I didn’t send the spam. How did they use my email address as the “sender” address? Kinda freaky!

These are individual emails sent in response to questions. Not spam. I asked our webmaster and he says to ask people to put us on their okay list, and I do, but a lot of people don’t know how, or they forget, or whatever. Anyway, this only seems to happen when sending to Yahoo addresses. Does anyone know anything about this?

I recently had an Opt-in Email company (Email Marketing Innovation. com) send out an html email promo for my company to 350000 people. It was supposed to be targeted and to the US only. I only paid $49 for it so I figured what the heck. I have seen my visits skyrocket but no sales. I have a tracker on my site and it tells me where the visitor came from and what pages he clicked on. So far, it seems like every single visitor that the company has sent my way only lands on the index page of my site and goes nowhere from there. Also, I have noticed that they have sent me an large number of visitors from around the world. Are these companies for real, or are they just able to drive fake traffic to my site??? Please help me on this one. My site is SprinklerAnchor. com

I’m looking for a free software or web site that will let me create a newsletter where I can easily add or delete recipients email addresses and the newsletter is sent in HTML format. Something simple, but easy to use. Preferably with design and send features, but I could create it myself in HTML if I had to.

Do not say use MS publisher and email it with outlook - that is NOT what I am looking for.

Any sites or software you know of?
Aweber looks good, but it’s not free. I’m not having many users at this stage, so it’s not worth the cost yet.

Keep answers coming if you have them please.
None of these are what I am looking for.
I found http://www.phplist.com/

Looks like this will work. Thanks for your posts anyway.
MailChimp looks good too. Thanks for that - I’m setting up PHPlists now, but they do not have much in the way of templates to use. MailChimp appears to have that.

I scanned the subjects of the email in the bulk file, hit the empty butting and was too late when I spotted my friends name on the who the email was from. What steps do I need to follow to go into the spam filter process and rescue my friend’s email address from the spam filter so I can get future emails from her? (sorry, I am a realative techno-illiterate…)

I’m starting another small business and am looking for some software that creates customer and mailing lists. If possible I would like one that can be integrated into other business software as the outlook for this business is very good and huge growth is a pretty sure thing. Does anybody out there have some suggestions on this type of software? I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thank you for your time.
