I want to block an individual email address to prevent their messsages from being delivered to me AND I want to notify them that their message has been rejected. Is this possible? I know I can set up a spam filter for a specific address but I want them to be notified when this happens.

Inside your Yahoo email, there is a list of people that are suggested as connections. (I’m not talking about the actual contact list of people I know with their email addresses, etc) I don’t know who these people are, and is there a way to opt out of that in my email?

I received an email virus from someone. I’ve done a virus scan on my computer, but I’m wondering if the virus attaches to Yahoo! Mail or if it affects the computer itself. In other words, if I use Yahoo! Mail on a different computer will it become infected too or is it restricted to the computer I was on when I clicked on the link?

I do not have the ability to go into my son’s email, but he keeps getting explicit email from a girl. I want to block her from sending him emails, without him knowing that I have done that. Is this possible?
He would not block it himself, so that is not an option.

I continue to get unsolicited emails from an individual that I have told over and over to not bother me. I want to know how I can block emails from them.

Hi. I’d like to bundle my email (by date or sender, preferably) and back it up at home. I’ve looked through other people’s versions of this question and as of May 2007, it seems the answer is still, basically: sorry, the only way to do this is pay for Yahoo! Plus services. (I don’t use Outlook Express, in case that’s the only way to do it? I couldn’t tell from other answers.) I don’t want to pay for extra service for a once-a-year thing. If I move to gmail, is there a way to forward everything painlessly? Is there a way to export? Or is there really NO free solution to this problem? Running XP w/Firefox or Opera. Thanks for your help, folks! :)

When I first opened my Yahoo account, Yahoo offered (for free) for me to close my other emails and forward all the emails to the new Yahoo account. How can I do this now? I’ve tried even setting up a way to POP it and it’s not working. (this is a gmail account.)
