Bulk email

I received a posting on my blog I have 8 days to contact Jeff Russell of Yahoo management to list my email address or you will charge me 10$ a month for my free email…..Is this true?

yahoo mail is web based and has had a virus which sent email to people in your address book. How to get this stopped is the question?

All other email accounts not with yahoo are working perfectly. We have checked all our internet setup and it’s fine! I am list owner to a yahoo group and a lot of the members are complaining about yahoo.management of their email accounts also. Trying to open my account can take up to 6 minutes. When will it be working properly?

I my office we send out many email with lots or recipients on the list. It is important with these email to reply to all. But on a daily basses someone will send out a joke or picture. Is it proper etiquette to reply to all with a witty one liner. More then half my email within a day are ‘reply to alls’ about non work related items. Also, could this be the reason when I send out real emails I goet no response from any management because of all the junk email?

When my users in the office sends email to yahoo users, yahoo users can not receive email because we are using ip address given by our web hosting company as SMTP server to send email to out side users. Because of this configuration, it seems Yahoo has blocked our IP address as a result yahoo users can not receive emails that we sent(not in Bulk folder also). We have confirmed this with our web hosting provider & according to them our SMTP server (ip address based) relays email to yahoo servers but email gets blocked or discarded at yahoo server. I can not use name based SMTP server(e.g. smtp.mydomainname.com) because current email setup is bit complicated. Can some one suggest me what should I do to resolve this issue?

I have a few yahoo accounts and have had no problems for years but today, for some reason, none of them are sending emails. I just get the following:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject ‘Read: Files’, Account: ‘xxxxxx’, Server: ‘mail.btinternet.com’, Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: ‘550 5.7.1 mail rejected as bulk mail‘, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0×800CCC69

I have not altered any settings and I have checked all of them and they are correct. I have also tried a system restore but no joy. Anyone have any ideas? I don’t want to have to speak to an automated help response which is of no use!!

Our customers that are using Yahoo Mail are having all our emails sent to their spam folders. This is wrecking havoc on our business - they do not receive our invoices and other critical emails - most are not aware of spam blocking and never check their spam folder.

We have implemented SPF and DomainKeys yet all the mails have a header “X-YahooFilteredBulk”.

How can we resolve this situation with Yahoo Mail? Surely there is a process for getting us off your list?

We never send bulk emails - the emails always have less than five recipients, usually just one. We DO have images and links in some of our emails and some are sent automatically from a PHP program.

Most our customers are “new” (non repeat) and the emails getting spammed are our first contact. Plus most users are completely unaware of yahoo’s agreesive filtering or how to put us on a whitelist. So we’re looking for a way to get off Yahoo’s spam list in the first place.

i meen when amember send an email i dont want the resever of the mail can see the sender email adress

These are individual emails sent in response to questions. Not spam. I asked our webmaster and he says to ask people to put us on their okay list, and I do, but a lot of people don’t know how, or they forget, or whatever. Anyway, this only seems to happen when sending to Yahoo addresses. Does anyone know anything about this?

I just search my bulk and suddenly I see an email subject “Same quality medications but lower prices” which is sent by my email address!!
