i would like to add a opt in email form that people could fill out when they visit my website to get updates and such.

I need to create an email newsletter with a nice template and multiple pages for free. is there an online site or software?

For the last two years, I have slowly evolved my career towards becoming a private guitar instructor. Lately. I have been thinking about creating a newsletter because I’m discovering the effectiveness of word-of-mouth advertisement from parents and students. From my experience in writing, I’m aware that a properly written and distributed newsletter or mailing list is highly effective way to reach people.

The question I have is what kind of software would I need? Is there a really good program available for creating, editing, and managing this? Are there web-based applications or a free website? I just want to write mini articles (tips, etc.) and calendar info, including recitals or open music events…

I just don’t know how to get this started, so I thought I would ask? It would be even really swell if I could just tie it all in with my calendar, which I have yet to figure out a program. Would MS Outlook be a soloution for Calendar and Newsletter?

What is a good newsletter signup program that I can use with my website? I have form field on my website where people will be able to type in their email address, and I need them to be able to subscribe or unsubscribe. What software can I use for this?

I need to create a company internal newsletter and I would like to make it interactive, such as adding custom made buttons that click to show/hide more info. I am trying to put graphics and links in my email much like one would see in a newsletter from ITUNES or a bank. Do I need special software or do current email software programs like Netscape, IE or Safari do the job? I believe style sheets and HTML are involved. Am I close?

I am trying to add a form to my website that allows people to sign up for a mailing list. I then need this data to be downloadable and available to me in a spreadsheet so I can convert into labels. Are there any software/freeware programs that will do this for me? I want the end product to be downloaded into Excel if possible? Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for a free software or web site that will let me create a newsletter where I can easily add or delete recipients email addresses and the newsletter is sent in HTML format. Something simple, but easy to use. Preferably with design and send features, but I could create it myself in HTML if I had to.

Do not say use MS publisher and email it with outlook - that is NOT what I am looking for.

Aweber looks good, but it’s not free. I’m not having many users at this stage, so it’s not worth the cost yet.

MailChimp looks good too. Thanks for that - I’m setting up PHPlists now, but they do not have much in the way of templates to use. MailChimp appears to have that.
