Hi my hotmail email ID has been sending out virus filled emails to everybody in my address book. how do i get rid of it someone can help me or even point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
im looking to get my email account to stop transmitting the virus so will these work?

If I send an email in Yahoo mail in plain text without any attachments, will that ensure that if I have a virus on my computer, it will not be sent to the person that I send the message to?

My friends are getting upset with me sending them links on advertisements about Viagra and other sexual stimulants. I am not sending them these links. I have a worm or virus in my email box. You need to clean it or something.

Emails were sent to all my contact in Yahoo mail with this link. http://mrpratt.net/I8ZAu5koeB.html which is a virus. How can I remove this virus from my yahoo mail account or my computer? Thanks for helping me!

I get emails, like 20 to 30 a day with different email addresses, but they all start with DWS. And I’ve gotten messages on a couple of websites statying that I’ve been blocked due to installed Malware or Bots. I have Avast! Antivirus installed, and Spybot S&D. I also use Firefox. Everything is up to date, yet no virus is found. I refuse to pay for a license for Norton or anything like that, because I honestly believe they create half of the viruses out there to ramp up business. Aside from a format and reinstall of Windows, anything that can be done without costing money?

How do u get rid of the UPS Email virus??? My mom opened the attachment in the email and now we have a virus. PLEASE HELP!!

In other words, can you view the email in your preview pane and not have it effect your PC? Or do the viruses affect your PC when they enter your inbox? I understand most email has virus scan and so on, I just like to know the fine details.

I have Norton Anti Virus, the latest versions of everything, and even spybot search and destroy.

Norton and SpyBot both say my puter is up to date and everything is fine, but it’s not.

Emails I send keep coming back to inbox but new emails can’t get in. Anybody else have this problem? I get it about every other month.

I have received 3 emails from unknown people and their addresses are hot mail. I sell books on the internet and opened up the first one and the 2nd and the letters in the email were all scrambled as I thought it was from a customer. I have a good virus program as well as my firewall. My computer doesn’t seem to be acting up too much since then but a few things don’t seem right. Could these emails contain viruses?
