I received a strange email from someone who sent it to both my gmail and hotmail account, is there a way to find out where (which country) the email was sent from? Thanks.

It was spam, but not sent by me. How does someone get a hold of my email address and use it for spam? How can I stop this from happening?
Jay K: what do mean by “whoever i want,” hmmm?

In other words, the computer won’t let it get into my bulk mail but it gets into my e-mail. why doesn’t the spam guard stop it from getting into my email?

I work for a virtual company that provides resume evaluations by email to requesting career searchers. I have to do a lot of follow up work just to get this information to the requester because many times my email is sent to their bulk / spam folders never to be seen again. I have noticed this happens most with hotmail and aol addresses.

The emails have no attachments and do not include the word “free”, so I am not sure why this happens. Are small businesses tagged by large email providers?

Any suggestions on improving this issue?
