Bulk email

My mom’s email account has a virus on it. Whenever she wants to send a message, there is this letter of spam on the bottom about some bank guy in Europe. This is annoying and we don’t know how it got there. Does anyone have any suggestons how this virus can be removed?

I keep getting links from a couple of people in my address book (of course I don’t click them!) who have stated they haven’t sent an email. We are aware it’s a virus, but we can’t find any detailed info online. What is the best site to research viruses online? Thanks in advance!!!

I keep getting **** messages from unknown sites and i dont know how to opt out or delete or stop them from hitting my email,can someone please help me ?

well the best part is even when i connect to the net from elseware it still hogs that connection as well, i tried running my upto date norton virus scanner , but it turned up nothing, i had to untinstall it cuz it pops up so many mail filtering messages accross my screen……..is there any way i can block these cuz when i installed a trafic monitoring program it showed up smtp rocketing all my bandwith !!!

Recently I signed up with some temp agencies online and also browse around some sites online and wrote down my email address for some free gift certificates.

The problem - now I am receiving 10 to 20 emails a day. My bulk inbox is over 5,000.

But I also receive some post dated emails. ex. I got some emails with date sent of 6/27/06. Today is only 6/21/06.

Any explanations will be appreciated. Please touch a little on security issue also because I like to protect myself. However, I really do need a job and most jobs require online information.

i was chating with that person in a chat window while watching online tv. The person asked for my email. I opted not to give my email. What i want to know is whether he/she could have done any sort of harm to me by knowing my email id. Pls help

People in my contacts are reciving emails from me that links them to a website to buy viagra. I have not sent out any emails. It is sending out this email one to two times a day even when I am not logged on to my email account. How do I stop it? Is it an infection on my computer or just in my email? Thanks for the help!

I am actually expecting a parcel but I thought it was being sent by regular mail so I am afraid to open this email (there are actually 3 emails each from a different manager).
Is it safe to open the email to read it and get the address in order to report it as spam?
Can I get a virus just by opening the email?
If it is a dangerous fake email, how did they get my email address?

I have outlook express and a friend just told me that she got an email from me with a virus. I run my virus scan everyday and it doesn’t show anything it always comes up clean? What do I do? I have AVG anti-virus protection.

I’ve been banned by gmail a couple of times thus far and I need a better way to do this. I have my webcam hooked up to the server in my bedroom to take pics and video if it detects motion when I’m not home and to email me the images as soon as they’re created. If a burglar breaks into my room and steals my server, I’ll have pics of the burglar to give to the cops. Or at least, I will if I can email the pics to myself without getting banned by email services. Any email or file hosting ideas are welcome, preferably free. Thus far my bedroom “security system” is totally ghetto-rigged with equipment I already had and hasn’t cost me a dime.
