Bulk email

I think I foolishly gave my email address to a site promising a $250 gift card and now I’m getting a lot of bulk email (spam). I set up a new yahoo email address with the possibility of switching addresses, but it’ll be a pain. Should I wait and see what happens or proceed with changing over to the new address?

Somehow someone has cloned my email address and is now sending me spam as though Ive sent it to myself. This is happening two both my email addresses. Im concerned that people will think I am spamming them when Im not. How can I contact Yahoo mail about this? Is anyone else having this problem? How do I stop this? Any ideas or help much appreciated. Thanx

getting ads in my bulk mail with my email address as the sender

I am setting up a subscription service (i,e Newsletter style) where I don’t want the list of hundreds of emails appearing under the “Sent to:” Box. How do I get it to appear with solely my address & none of the subscribers (for Free)? Best Answer Given.

I am receiving 100s of emails per day in the bulk folder, it is automatic, but not 100% effectuve. as voiced in my concern.

In addition to my Yahoo address my Verizon account is seeing increases in bulk/spam mail that does not route away easily.

I want to retain my addresses to avoid the change of address process but slowly feel it may be the only effective path to escape the deluge of spam, junk and suspicious solicitations I constantly recieve.

I get emails from an online language school and also a comic strip delivered daily - and they are put in my bulk folder, next to junk emaisl. How do I set my yahoo to recognize these two addresses and put their mails into my inbox when they arrive?

I get e-mails from nine west pretty regularly even though I never specifically signed up for their mailing list. I have followed the link to opt-out of it several times and completed all their instructions. The first time I did this was many months ago. They said it could sometimes take a few weeks to get me off the list but this is getting ridiculous.

How can I get them to stop?!?

I need to setup a way to send “bulk” emails to a list of 400+ clients. What is the best way to do that. Should i just use the BCC function in my outlook or is it much better to sign up for a service or should i use specific software. If so, what is the advantage of using a paid service or a software program.

I have been using the web based Yahoo email program for several years.

Now that I have a better understanding of what generates SPAM, I would like to learn how to eliminate the proliferation of bulk and trash mail that ends up in my folders.

I am using the SPAM Proection at: http://us.f825.mail.yahoo.com/ym/spamoptions and the Filtering option at: http://us.f825.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Filters

I have applied the settings as best I can, but still seem to be getting a proliferation of unwanted junk. I do not want to change my email address because it is widely used.

You can mark mail in the trash folder as SPAM, but it is not an option within the bulk mail folder.

Any ideas on how I can block the mail that I am getting and do not want?
