I help to market an incredible indie band (Kush) and need to inform their fan base of upcoming shows, events and so on (there are 400 people on the list who voluntarily signed up and want this info). Right now, we send this service out to a bulk emailer, but often these messages (professionally designed in html) end up in my Bulk folder. I can’t really use Outlook (I work from different locations so sharing a router causes problems) and want to know what the maximum number of emails that I can send out at once from Yahoo is as well as the best way to go about this. Any suggestions??? Thank you.

You might want to create a mailing list on your own instead of having a bulk emailer do it. There are plenty of free options available (see Google link below), plus it allows your subscribers to easily remove themselves if they want. And, you don’t run any risk of being seen as a spammer or having your Yahoo! account suspended.

Leave the to area blank and use the bcc section.

You have a limit of 500 addresses that can be entered into either one of the to, cc, or bcc boxes.
If you use an e-mail client, then you can have a list as long as you like, but you should add all addresses to the bcc section so that you don’t end up getting into trouble for showing a big list of e-mails that are vulnerable to spam.
