All other email accounts not with yahoo are working perfectly. We have checked all our internet setup and it’s fine! I am list owner to a yahoo group and a lot of the members are complaining about yahoo.management of their email accounts also. Trying to open my account can take up to 6 minutes. When will it be working properly?

6 minutes to log in? I never have problems with Yahoo. I never have problems with e-mails either. It takes me probably 5 seconds to log-in and get to my e-mail.
Try to e-mail yourself - send a message to your e-mail from the same e-mail address. When I do it, it comes up within about 15 seconds. I also don’t have problems sending e-mails either. They always send and I never get a message that it was “undeliverable” like I do using my other e-mail. Not sure why you would be having any problems - it’s working fine.

From elsewhere:
If you are with Virgin media then follow these instructions and you will be able to access your mail again =)
In Internet Explorer
Choose Tools > Internet Options > Connections
Under Dial-Up and Virtual Private Network Settings,if there is an entry in there select it and choose the Settings button
If not then choose the LAN Settings button instead
Now clickto add a tick to the box which says Use a proxy server for this connection OR Use a proxy server for your LAN or something similar.
In the Address: box type - webcache.virginmedia.com
In the Port: box type 8080
Click OK and OK again and restart Internet Explorer
You might also need to change back to Yahoo! Classic, when you can get in to do it, that is.Underneath your e-mail address just click on the mail classic option,it will ask you to confirm that you want to go back to using the old style version, just click yes
You can access it instantly via this link
but the above will solve the problem permanantly =)
From me:-
In Firefox, it’s Tools/Options/Advanced/Settings then use the Http box for the address above and the Port box next to it for 8080
